Testimonials

When a ship is in peril the captain will call for “All hands on deck”! The Orban Foundation has answered this call and is actively addressing the mental health needs of Veterans throughout the community “.

TESTIMONIAL

My experience with the podcast is how incredibly real it is when other veterans share their true-life stories of struggles of their physical and mental health with others. It is raw and straight to the heart of the matter. The audience gets the real “boots on the ground” picture of what the veterans have gone through during their deployment and during their recovery at home.

“SFVZ is one of the many resources that currently exist in and outside of the veteran community that provide candid, no-nonsense conversations and dialogue with veterans like myself who served in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past 20 years”

TESTIMONIAL

The Stigma Free Zone does just that by providing a platform for veterans like myself to discuss critical issues and exchange of ideas in a long format dialectic that is crucially needed in today’s information age. I am forever grateful to Michael and the staff at the Stigma Free Zone Podcast for the opportunity to part of this growing movement as well as their time and hard work making this a reality.

TESTIMONIAL

I’ve been asked, “what’s the value of the podcast”?
“if it saves just one life”!

This is the actual picture I (Michael Orban) received during a late night call from a young veteran. He had displayed these 3 items on his bed in a moment of strong urge and low resistance to ending his life. After hours of conversation focused on hope and cemented by trust we watched the sun rise from our separate ‘bunkers’. Sometimes a break in a pervasive thought can open the mind to hope and the next step to healthy resolution. This veteran took that healthy step.
